"Not until we are lost do we begin to understand ourselves"--- Henry David Thoreau.
Life is a swirl of emotions. Sometimes it is like you feel fidgety at all times and you can not stop. At other times you feel as if the world is moving fast and you are unable to move at the same pace. Sometimes you feel a mixture of both. You feel as if... everything is everywhere all at once. Sometimes you feel the urge to make friends around you because you feel lonely and you start trusting the wrong people. You start thinking as if your parents, your siblings, and your teachers are your enemies just because they put restrictions on you...
Come on, start thinking with me.. question yourself one by one...
Do you feel the need to cross the limits to show that you are unstoppable?
Do you feel like a whole bottled-up bunch of emotions?
Do you feel like your brain is clogged up and clouded?
Do you think this is interfering with your studies and your remembering capacity?
Do you feel like you are incapable of keeping up with people's expectations of you?
Do you feel like crying, screaming at a time, laughing, and joking simultaneously?
Do you feel like nobody gets you?
Then at the same time do you feel that you are unable to express what's inside you because you simply cannot express this weird but awkwardly comforting feeling, that inexpressible thought to your people?
Do you feel you will be made fun of when you share that you are struggling?
Do you actually even feel like struggling?
Do you feel goosebumps when you hear inner thoughts?
Have you tried to do what Sia did?
I put my armor on, show you how strong I am
I put my armor on, I'll show you that I am
I'm unstoppable
I'm a Porsche with no brakes
I'm invincible
Yeah, I win every single game
I'm so powerful
I don't need batteries to play
I'm so confident
Yeah, I'm unstoppable today
Honestly, I don't know what I am typing right now... I just want to help people overcome the fear that they are depressed. Because this is all just pressure around you, your mind doubles up just to motivate you, but we take it so negatively that it becomes a fear, a stigma inside our heads.
“There is hope, even when your brain tells you there isn't.” ― John Green.
Every one of us has come to a phase in our life where we either face the loss of a loved one or got betrayed or got financially unstable, or get lesser marks or people talk weird things about our past.... past that they do not even know a thing about.
Honestly, I also once fell under the pressure of all this... there was a time when I fell all alone, I felt what you may be feeling right now... or maybe the feeling may be unique...
Yeah, I know sometimes
Things may not always make sense to you right now
But hey, what'd daddy always tell you?
Straighten up, little soldier
Stiffen up that upper lip
What you cryin' about?
You got me
so here is the thing... I may or may not be able to understand how you want to process your emotions... but I do know how you feel. I may not be able to replicate what is inside your head but yes! I can relate because each of these mental problems starts up there... your brain...
You need to take the pressure positively and that's the only way to overcome these negative thoughts. Yeah, you might not feel these thoughts negatively. But they actually are.. You might not be able to distinguish between what is right and wrong inside your head... But you can help yourself... You can start talking to people about it. That necessarily means necessarily everyone... only selective people. You can start writing seriously whatever you feel even if it does not make sense. Better yet you can share it with me... Maybe I can help you overcome what I did. I cannot completely cure it but I am confident you can feel better cuz hey!
You deserve to be loved
You will be loved
You deserve to be cared for
You will be loved
You deserve to be listened to
You will be listened to
You deserve to laugh
You will laugh soon...
You deserve to share whatever is in there...
And you can share... share it with me... I will help... no matter what you feel
Do you know why?
It is because YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE...
Man life's too short to just sit and come under the pressure... life is not about being in depression.. no no no! not especially for your teenagers! No! The teenagers we have are the most beautiful times of our lives! and we really need to live in the moment.
We all need that someone
Who gets you like no one else
Right when you need it the most
We all need a soul to rely on
A shoulder to cry on
A friend through the highs and the lows
I'm not gonna make it alone.
And yeah.. stop thinking that you are alone... YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
So for once... just stop everything, close your eyes, smile, realize that you are made to do wonders in the world, and realize that you are special.
