MENTAL HEALTH.......A COMMON ISSUE

Hello everyone!! How are you all? Hope that you are all fine. I am fine too. It had been a prolonged period of time since I had talked about any complexities with you people. So now, I am back with another intricacy that is usually encountered by people of all ages. I just presumed that it is very prevalent and I also recently studied it in PSHE. And one more thing. It is linked with Psychology. Well, I would not keep you in the dark any longer. It is about "Mental Health" and all the issues linked with it.

First of all, what is mental health? The term "mental" refers to the term which means "Concerning the mind" whereas, the word "Health" means "a person's mental or physical condition." So all in all, mental health means the state of someone's Psychological condition. It is the state of someone who is "functioning at a satisfactory level of emotional and behavioral adjustment". Today our topic would be revolving around that what are the factors that can affect our health, how can we cope with them, and in the end, we will discuss the ways I which we can keep it balanced.

Our brain is the most precious thing that God has gifted us with. Therefore we need to keep it and ourselves safe. Note that Mental health includes emotional, psychological, and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It also helps determine how we handle stress, relate to others, and make choices. Mental health is important at every stage of life, from childhood and adolescence through adulthood. It can be positive and negative at times. It changes every day as we move on, interacting with more and more people, enlarging our circle of society. The following are some factors that can affect our Mental health.

Education:- Children are more likely to develop Mental illness when they are having loads of homework or have their exams or to an extent, when they do badly in their tests and exams.

Ø Self-esteem:-

This is the value we place on ourselves, our positive self-image, and our sense of self-worth. When we have lower self-esteem, we gradually begin to think low of ourselves and are then sort of lost in the mists of negativity. This can often lead to madness.

Ø Feeling Ignored:-

Children who feel ignored, mistrusted, and dejected by their parents and others are far more likely to have lower self-esteem. ...

Ø Confidence:-

Youth should be encouraged to discover their unique qualities and have the confidence to face

challenges and take risks. Young people who are not brought up to have confidence in themselves are more likely to have a negative attitude and to lead saddened and less-productive lives.

Ø Family breakup or loss:-

Separation or the loss of a parent or sibling is extremely painful. Finding ways to cope and adjust to the changes wrought by these events is critical for everyone, but particularly for youth. How grief is handled can affect young people negatively for years to come. If children are having difficulty coping, professional help is recommended.

Ø Physical ill health:-

When people develop a rare disease, it is then difficult for them to blend into normal society. People ignore them because they think of them as useless. This thought leads to negative emotions which often result in committing suicides.

Ø Something which happened in the past:-

People sometimes have done something in the past of which they were guilty. But assuming that they then realized their mistakes and have also mended their ways. But it sometimes happens that a guilty feeling is left deep down in their hearts which they cannot stand afterward and start thinking of them as guilty. This leads to autism when they start assuming things on their own when they start talking with themselves, convincing that they did nothing. This then often result in psychosis or easy words, it is going mad.

WAYS WE CAN COPE WITH OUR NEGATIVE MENTAL HEALTH:-

·     Start thinking positive.

·     Hangout with your friends.

·     Go out for movies.

·     Play outdoor games and indoors as well.

·     If any stress is hovering over you and you still can't handle it, then talk about it with someone you trust, whom you think can understand you and how you think.

·     And if you don't feel like talking, then you can write, play, read, do art, listen to music, or more likely, play with your friends. They even fell lonely at times.

Talking about your mental health is not difficult at all. After all, it something that we all have in common. If you would take my advice, take an adult in your confidence, and share how you feel. They have a solution for everything and it is my self-experience. I also feel lonely and dejected at times, but now I have learned how to cope with the stream of negative thoughts that flows into my head every time something bad happens to me. And I would, in the end, also tell you that even I suffer from mental stress at times. Even this peer pressure leads to negative mental health. Yes! Peer pressure is a feeling that most people face every day and I face it too. It is from my friends, teachers, and family. I think being a child is a very big responsibility as you have to see for your studies, to make your image as a good student in front of you teachers, and finally, giving time to your best friends. I have a strong belief that peer pressure is only negative and never I will deny that either. It drives me into craziness every time I have a fit of Peer pressure. I strongly stress upon the point that there is peer pressure in school and maybe every child suffers from it. But as I told before, I have learned to cope with my negative emotion. You can do it too! Trust me and follow your heart.

Well, friends, so that was it. Hope you people liked it. If you still have any queries, you can ask me in the comments. Feel free to ask. Suggestions are welcome and would be appreciated. I will write my next blog son. Till then, bye!!

EXAMS-GATEKEEPERS TO SUCCESS OR TRAPS OF STRESS?

Hello, lovely people. It has been a really long time since I have posted anything. To be honest, whenever I got free from my college exams, I have been writing something constantly, but in the end, the final draft did not seem perfect enough to post and for people to read. I was in exam crunch due to my last college year, so I needed to focus on my studies. And now THAT I AM DONE WITH  MY LAST BOARD EXAM today, here I am, at your service, breaking ice on another taboo subject. One that some parents MIGHT NOT appreciate. So here we go, my thoughts at your service, for you to analyze and weigh(erm.. I should probably skip to the main part :) Anyway, Enjoy!) As judged by the topic, we are going to look at an in-depth analysis of the concept of exams and whether they are really the right tool to assess every student, even after knowing that, well, every mind is built differently? So, what can an exam be defined as? According to Google search( yep, I research from Google ),  ...

NAEGLERIA

Hello everyone! How are you all? I hope that you all are fine. Okay... so the topic for today is Naegleria. So, without losing a moment, let's get started:- GENERAL INTRODUCTION:- Naegleria  is a free-living amoebae protist genus consisting of 47 described species often found in warm aquatic environments as well as soil habitats worldwide. It has three life cycle forms: the amoeboid stage, the cyst stage, and the flagellated stage, and has been routinely studied for its ease in change from amoeboid to flagellated stages. The  Naegleria  genera became famous when  Naegleria fowleri , a human pathogenic strain and the causative agent of primary amoebic meningoencephalitis (PAM), was discovered in 1965. Most species in the genus, however, are nonpathogenic. TYPES OF NAEGLERIA:- 47 species of  Naegleria  have been described. These include: Naegleria americana Naegleria andersoni Naegleria angularis Naegleria antarctica Naegleria arctica Naegleria austral...
